Brewing Suggestions

  • Serving size: 5 grams, about a handful of our leaves, will make a 12 ounces / 400 ml of tea, several cups depending on how many times it is steeped.
  • Green tea: we recommend water at around 175 degrees, first steeping for around 2 minutes, second steeping 3 minutes, third steeping 4 minutes.
  • Oolong: we recommend water near 195 degrees, first steeping for around 2 minutes, second steeping 3 minutes, third steeping 4 minutes.
  • Black tea: water can be near boiling.  First steeping can be as short as a minute, depending on your tastes, and color and flavor should continue for several more steepings of increasing time.
